English
Effective date: October 10, 2026
This policy applies to the Game of Life app (iOS and HarmonyOS) developed by LazyJazzDev.
Information processing
The app requires no account or sign-in, has no advertising, analytics or third-party tracking SDKs, and runs offline. The updated HarmonyOS version removes gravity sensor access and keeps button icons fixed. We do not upload, sell, share, identify users from, or use this information for analytics or advertising.
Your saved patterns
Patterns you save in the app stay in the app's own storage on your device and are never uploaded. Deleting the app deletes them. When you choose Open from Files or Save to Files, the app accesses only the files you select in the system file picker.
HarmonyOS: fixed icons
The revision dated October 10, 2026 removes the gravity sensor feature. It does not subscribe to or read gravity sensor information and has no automatic icon-rotation toggle. Earlier versions used gravity components only for immediate on-device icon rotation, without recording, uploading or sharing them. Please update to the version that removes this feature.
iOS: device orientation
The iOS version uses system device-orientation notifications to keep button icons upright. Orientation information is used immediately on-device and is not recorded or transmitted.
Permissions
The app does not request camera, microphone, location, contacts or network permissions.
Children
The app is suitable for all ages. The same minimal, on-device processing practices apply to children.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date.
